Following the interview with Kim, and every guest, I stop recording and we usually chat for a little.
I immediately thanked Kim for everything she shared and asked a few more little probing questions about the expos she attended and how important they were to the success of her studio and the number of clients they photographed.
That's when she told me...
Each year I had better results, and with better systems in place, I took my return on investment (ROI) from about $6000 with my first ever expo in 2013 to our best expo at $106,000.
I was blown away and the idea of this training for PhotoBizX listeners was sparked.
I asked Kim about the expos and shared that I'd attended quite a few as a wedding photographer and really didn't enjoy them. Especially because there were so many other photographers at every event I attended.
Kim laughed a little and told me that's because I wasn't attending the right or best events to get in front of my clients.
